Abbey Galleries

A vibrant gallery for visitors to see and buy an ever-changing selection of colourful artwork in a relaxed fantastic art space. The Gallery displays a constant rotation of works by guest artists in many different mediums, from oils to ceramics. Presenting at least 100 works from up to 35 different artists at any one time, be they local, regional, national or international creators – the one thing they all have in common is colour!

Run by husband-and-wife team Chris and Jilly Oxlade-Arnott. Jilly is well-known for her unique fine link ink and watercolour depictions of historical and significant architecture. Her use of vibrant colours, with an emphasis on the subject, leaving the rest to fine line ink, produces a unique and stunning artwork. Chris is an artist mentor (teaching commercialisation to artists) and a creator/curator of art and performance events.

The gallery is proud to ensure that artists get a realistic and fair price for their work, which also provides great value to its buyers. Chris and Jilly hand select its guest artists who best represent the Gallery’s ethos of Colour, Craftmanship and Creativity.
