Pershore Civil War walk

Join the Almonry Education team for our second guided Civil War walk of the year. Meeting at Pershore bridge, the walk will examine the Medieval history of Pershore bridge, focusing on the events of 1644 where the bridge was severely damaged in a skirmish that cost the lives of many soldiers.

The walk will last about an hour and cover the land either side of Pershore bridge. Visitors are reminded to wear clothing and footware appropriate for the weather. Booking is encouraged but not essential.
