Battle of Evesham Pilgrim Walk

Following last year’s successful Battle of Evesham Pilgrim Walk, we turn our attention to the route taken by Simon de Montfort and his army from British Camp on the Malverns to Evesham, a distance of approximately 35 miles over three days. We will pass Little Malvern Priory, the site of the Bishop’s Palace in Kempsey and Pershore Abbey, all locations where it is believed Simon stopped for prayer. We invite ‘pilgrims’ to join us on this journey of discovery, finishing at the Battle of Evesham Medieval Festival.
