Meeting at the Town Hall, the walk will cover Charles I’s visit to the town, and the subsequent fighting that took place on Bridge Street, Abbey Park, and the High Street.

Includes introductory talk at the Town Hall, including handling of reproduction weapons and armour. Walk lasts around an hour, suitable clothing and footwear for the weather is advised.
