The August Bank Holiday Monday marks the “”Plum Fayre Day,”” the grand finale and undisputed pinnacle of the month-long Pershore Plum Festival. On this day, the historic market town completely transforms into a vibrant sea of purple to celebrate its world-famous fruit heritage.

The festivities kick off at 9:30 AM followed by the iconic Plum Parade at 10:30 AM. Led by the “”Plum Posse”” and festival mascots, the procession winds through the streets to Broad Street for the official opening.

Event Highlights:
Abbey Park Extravaganza: The park becomes a hub of activity featuring over 700 classic cars, a sprawling Food Village, and a Fun Fair.

Unique Traditions: Don’t miss the famous Teddy Bear Parachute Drop and Zip Wire from the Abbey tower—a firm family favorite.

The Plum Market: Explore “”Plum Alley”” and the Farmers’ Market to sample everything from fresh Pershore Purple plums to plum-infused sausages, ciders, and jams.

Live Entertainment: Multiple stages across the town host live music, while the Gardening and Cookery Marquee features celebrity demos and tips.
