The Nest at Winnall is a luxury self-catering holiday cottage dating from the early 19th Century, situated close to the beautiful Wyre Forest in the heart of rural Worcestershire. The cottage sits adjacent to Winnall House, an imposing Georgian manor farmhouse and is nestled in a small, peaceful valley of unspoilt countryside which slopes down to the River Severn. It is the perfect tranquil oasis from which to explore the beautiful surroundings of Worcestershire, Shropshire and the Cotswolds.

The Nest has been lovingly restored by its owners, retaining many period cottage features. The interior has a chic retro design feel with many vintage details, so you can truly ‘step back in time’ and forget all the stresses of daily life during your stay here. Lovers of modern luxuries need not worry however, as you’ll also find Superfast WiFi, a smart TV and digital heating system – all the home comforts you would expect. We strive to be as environmentally conscious as possible – all our toiletries, handwash, laundry & dishwash supplies and cleaning products have very strong eco-credentials.

We have an abundance of 5* Google reviews, and many of our guests say they feel as comfortable here as they would at home. We pride ourselves on our welcome packs, which are full of homemade and local produce. Our guests also have access to a virtual guidebook which they can download in advance of their stay.

The Nest is the ultimate countryside escape for small groups, families or a romantic retreat just for two. As well as relaxing, walking and cycling, guests can visit nearby West Midland Safari Park, Severn Valley Railway & lots of National Trust houses. Golf, fishing and horse riding are all 5 minutes away and we are only 20 minutes from the M5 and Worcester city.
